"Something new on the Table of Boom. Here we have an Arturia Drumstep Pro sequencing the Sinmons SDS9 and the MIDISID. It’s also sending sync to the 1010music Razzmatazz. The Replicator is a cassette tape echo device. Interesting fact, the MIDISID uses two SID chip clones to generate synth sounds you would find made by a Commodore 64. MIDISID uses two modern SID recreations (Nano SwinSIDs). The reveb on the MIDISID is coming from that cheap Harbinger mixer I got a couple months ago. I think it sounds nice for the price."

"It starts out pretty nasty. Give it a minute to develop. I have two distortion pedals in this one. A WMD Geiger Counter and a cheap $20 distortion I found on Amazon.

Running the Korg Volca through the cheap distortion and some drums through the Geiger Counter. Threw this together pretty quick."

They are working on a new brand: Array Sounds, which will focus on plug-ins and virtuakl instruments. The first product of which will be Double Scoop a simple 2 layer sample player with synthesis and effects, designed to fill your need for chill keyboard and synth sounds. They were showing a preview of the new software, now in Beta which will be launched in January 2023."

"@Hologram Electronics meets @Korg Volca Modular

Hey fam! I'm having fun running my Volca Modular through a Microcosm and making some haunting ambient soundscapes. Still getting the hang of this Hologram Electronics Microcosm. In this case I created my own presets using the Haze setting with a long reverb tail in the Space knob. The patch I made in the Modular to turn just a few knobs to drastically change the timbre of the source sound which is then graciously effected by the Microcosm. While ambient soundscapes is it's forte the looper stands out as a separate tool as you can hear in my example. I’m changing the playback speed of the loop that I captured. The loop is layered with the real time effect. I hope you like the sounds. Imagine now what I can do if I record this into my DAW and integrate it into piece accompanied by more instruments. #hologramelectronics #volcamodular"

Bluebox is running OS ver .8.6 still in beta testing/ dev mode. Also in the mix Pocket Operator PO-28, Volca Bass, Volca Kick, Volca Modular, 1010music Blackbox. A couple guitar pedals in the mix including WMD Geigger Counter 2. Technically everything you see here can run on battery power so this could be completely portable.
